Brought to you by the Town of Danville, Danville Congregational Church, PFLAG Danville-San Ramon Valley, the San Ramon Valley Diversity Coalition, and Discovery Counseling Center - all Tri Valley justice-focused organizations.
Now in its third year, the event brings together people of all ages for a joyful mix of education, celebration, and connection. It includes speakers, movies, a resource fair, and opportunities to learn and stand in solidarity with our local LGBTIQ+ community. Valley Pride reflects our combined commitment to justice, inclusion, and radical welcome.
We will have entertainment for all the family via music from School of Rock, children’s art offerings, visiting animals and more. We encourage families to bring picnics and enjoy the beautiful space on the lawn at the Community Center. We are also partnering with local businesses to provide special food selections to purchase.
Affirming the dignity, rights, and full humanity of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions through education, inclusion, and advocacy.
SR Valley Pride, in partnership with the Town of Danville, celebrates community, inclusivity, and civic pride. The event brings together residents and visitors from across the region, creating a welcoming space with a broader community impact.
Valley Pride is organized by dedicated volunteers at DCC, PFLAG Danville-San Ramon Valley, Discovery Counseling Center, San Ramon Valley Diversity Coalition and other Tri-Valley justice-focused community organizations.

The Valley Pride organizers acknowledge that the land our event is happening on is the traditional, unceded land of the Ohlone and Bay Miwok people. We offer this land acknowledgment as a sign of respect, with the knowledge that this land was sacred before we ever arrived.

M.D. Neu is an international award-winning inclusive queer Fiction Writer with a love for writing and travel. Living in the heart of Silicon Valley (San Jose, California) and growing up around technology, he’s always been fascinated with what could be. Specifically drawn to Science Fiction and Paranormal television and novels, M.D. Neu was inspired by the great Gene Roddenberry, George Lucas, Stephen King, Alice Walker, Alfred Hitchcock, Harvey Fierstein, Anne Rice, and Kim Stanley Robinson. An odd combination, but one that has influenced his writing. Growing up in an accepting family as a gay man he always wondered why there were never stories reflecting who he was. Constantly surrounded by characters that only reflected heterosexual society, M.D. Neu decided he wanted to change that. So, he took to writing, wanting to tell good stories that reflected our diverse world. When M.D. Neu isn’t writing, he works for a non-profit and travels with his biggest supporter and his harshest critic, Eric his husband of twenty plus years.
