Valley Pride is organized by dedicated volunteers at DCC and co-sponsored by PFLAG Danville-San Ramon Valley and other Tri Valley justice-focused community organizations.
DCC

Danville Congregational Church (DCC) is a vibrant, progressive spiritual community, grounded in radical welcome, where faith is practiced honestly and questions are honored. Our worship is honest and courageous. We name inequality and injustice, and we seek to walk in the way of Jesus—standing with those who are marginalized and working for dignity and justice for all. We believe faith is not only personal but also deeply connected to how we live, care, and advocate for one another.

At DCC, LGBTIQ+ justice means affirming the dignity, rights, and full humanity of people of all sexual orientations and gender identities and expressions.

We believe everyone deserves to belong, thrive, and be celebrated for who they are. Through education, inclusion, and advocacy, DCC remains committed to creating safe and welcoming spaces for LGBTIQ+ individuals and their families—within our church and in the wider world. DCC has been an Open and Affirming church of the United Church of Christ since 1998. Since 2020, we have also been actively working to become an Anti-Racist church, seeking justice and equity within and beyond our walls.

PFLAG Danville-San Ramon Valley is an organization of LGBTQ+ people, parents, families, and allies who work together to create an equitable and inclusive world. We are hundreds of thousands of people and hundreds of chapters from coast to coast who are leading with love to support families, educate allies, and advocate for just, equitable, and inclusive legislation and policies. Since our founding in 1973, PFLAG Danville-San Ramon Valley works every day to ensure LGBTQ+ people everywhere are safe, celebrated, empowered and loved. The San Ramon Valley Diversity Coalition is a collective of community members committed to fostering inclusion, equity, and belonging across the San Ramon Valley. Bringing together individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives, the Coalition serves as a forum for thoughtful, constructive dialogue and as a catalyst for meaningful, community-driven solutions.

Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, the Coalition works to build a community where all people feel valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. Their efforts focus on creating spaces for connection, elevating diverse voices, and promoting understanding across differences.

The Coalition is dedicated to advancing a culture of inclusion where everyone can live authentically and with dignity.

Discovery Counseling Center

Discovery Counseling Center of the San Ramon Valley is a nonprofit community mental health organization dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality, and affordable counseling services to individuals and families across our community. For over 50 years, we have supported children, teens, adults, and families through life’s challenges—ensuring that care is accessible regardless of financial circumstances.

Through our school-based counseling programs, community clinics, and specialized services, we provide more than 13,000 hours of counseling each year. We are especially committed to early intervention, reducing stigma around mental health, and creating safe, inclusive spaces where all individuals feel seen, supported, and valued.

Discovery Counseling Center is dedicated to fostering belonging, resilience, and well-being for all. We believe that affirming, culturally responsive mental health care is essential, and are proud to stand in support of the LGBTQ+ community.
